01. Which is Official language of India and when it was
declared?
Hindi is Official language of India and it was declared as
Official Language of the Union on 14.09.1949.
02. From which date Official Language Policy came into effect?
The Official Language Policy came into force with effect from
26.01.1950.

The Official Language Act was passed in the year 1963.

year.
