About "The Banking Tutor"

 

I am Sekhar Pariti,  a Post Graduate in Economics from Andhra University. Joined Canara Bank in 1983 as Clerk. Worked in Branches (Metro, Urban, Specialised) and , Administrative Units in all categories (Clerk, Officer, Manager, and Senior Manager) . About 80% of career was  in Credit both in Administration and Operations. In Inspection I have created my own  mark by unearthing serious irregularities and frauds. I have submitted about 50 Special Reports covering more than 100 accounts of high value. Each Special Report is different from others.

On 31st December 2015, I have retired from Services of Canara Bank, as Senior Manager (from Inspection Set-up). From February 2016 to January 2019 (3 years) worked as ERO in Canara Bank for Audit Purpose.

During Audit of Branches, daily  I used to teach the branch staff   matters related to their work area. Even after my Retirement , many Canarites (from Branches as well as Administration) used to seek clarifications through WhatsApp or Mobile and I used to clarify.  With a view to share my knowledge and experience, in the year 2018 I started sharing Articles on Banking and Finance, in a simple language, through ePamphlet “The Prudent Banker” through eMails and WhatsApp. In 2019 I have started sharing Daily Points every day morning. My Idea of sharing Daily Points is if the individual knows the basics of the concept, he can search for details in case of need and going through one or two sentences do not need any time.

Initially my Group contains only Canarites. However, many Bankers from other Banks started joining my Group and now my Group consists employees from 20 different banks including private banks and cooperative Banks. As the composition of the Group is widened, I started sharing Issues relevant to all Bankers. Some Non Bankers like Chartered Accountants are also joined my Group.

After sharing the Articles in the Prudent Banker (once in 3 days – on 3rd, 6th, 9th….) by arranging such shared Articles related to same subject a Book is being released. So far I have shared 24 books.

With a view to reach many Bankers I have started Telegram Group and also created a Blog.

I believe in “Sharing  is Caring”. Today I  have changed name of my activity from The Prudent Banker” to “The Banking Tutor” and created this Blog. My plan is share one Point related to Banking and Finance Daily and one Article related to Banking and Finance once in 3 days (on 3^rd, 6^th, 9^th , 12^th……).
